CATEGORIES
Intellectual property is divided into the following categories:

- Copyright which includes novels, poems, plays, cinematography, music, paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography and architectural designs.
INFRINGEMENT
Any violation of intellectual property rights is referred to as infringement and may be a breach of both or either civil law or criminal law. Timely registration of intellectual property rights ensures its protection and is a basis of legal action against the infringer.
